BIO

Choreographers Soledad Howe and Fredrika Byman-Moberg, and music composer Malin Dahlström make up Katten Konstgrupp. Based on their collective experience that encompasses body, dance, music in performing arts, they focus on developing choreographic works and concerts that focus on the interaction with the audience and where the audience´s presence and movements become part of the work. The group are interested in researching the opening that arises in the space between the performer and the audience.

Their ongoing project “Circle, Circle” will unfold as a triptych and explores a non-linear narrative that moves between autobiography and fiction in an encompassing stage space where the music is partially performed live. They are currently working on part II – “Circle, Circle – music from an open window”
